About District Grants

The Rotary Club of Tyrone is a member of Rotary District  6900. Through district-level grants awarded each year, clubs are able to contribute to local organizations and causes in their communities. 

With our 2022-2023 grant funding, we worked with non-profit Promise Place (domestic violence prevention center) to help with much-needed repairs and upgrades to their facilities. We were fortunate this year, to also receive a Competitive Grant which gave us a combined total of $6,750 between the two grants. This allowed us to have a big impact on meeting the needs of Promise Place.

With our 2021-2022 grant funds we were able to provide much-needed medical equipment for non-profit Healing Bridge Clinic. With our 2020-2021 grant funds, we provided COVID-related supplies to several local schools. 

Over the years, our District Grants have been used to support other local organizations including AVPRIDE, Fayette Care Clinic, and Armed Forces Mission. We are grateful for this funding that allows us to support important work that helps our community in so many ways.
